QEMA's Mission Statement
- To tell the story of education in Ontario, using Prince Edward County as an example and as a primary source of museum material;
- To encourage interest in both the history of education as well as the teaching profession;
- To support Canadian Studies and the Ontario Curriculum in Social Studies/History;
- To collect and preserve artifacts and records;
- To provide an archives and library for social and educational research.
